Those people who are making comments like that have probably never had a serious medical condition or gone though a difficult pregnancy.
SOME pregnancies can become life threatening, some can create lasting medical issues. I have miscarried several times, I had to be induced with my precious daughter and thankfully she was okay but 24 hours after I had her I had respiratory issues and almost lost my life. I never had medical issues before and NOW I do.
As much as I would love to have another precious baby I will not be putting my body through a pregnancy (I miscarried again last year) when I know it will have serious complications for my health.
Those who make these type of comments are ignorant of what can happen to a woman's body in nine months.
Agreed. What the father’s rights movement is really asking for is to put their wishes above those of the women and place them in danger (not just because pregnancy is medically dangerous to many women, but women who are pregnant are at higher risk of violence as well). It’s another way to control women.
